The sculpture of Dadao March was created in 1976. With the subject matter of the anti-Japanese war, the works selected the most typical middle-aged farmer image with a broadsword as the main body of the sculpture. The sculpture covers six people of different social identities including commander, farmer, small warrior, woman and so on, some of which charging with a gun and some of which dashing forward with grenades or mines, embodying Chinese people’s great spirit of intrepidity and rising for war of resistance.
